I'm a full-time freelance writer, editor and editorial consultant. I focus heavily on style and beauty product reviews, but I also cover all areas of the lifestyle, celebrity and entertainment spaces. Right now, I regularly contribute to multiple publications:
Prior to freelancing, I worked in-house for BravoTV's digital arm (part of the NBCUniversal umbrella) for six years. I started as the Style & Shopping Editor in 2017, and, within two years, I was promoted to the Senior Lifestyle Editor. I served as the lead editor for all of Bravo's online lifestyle content, overseeing the creation and flow of up to 10 digital articles and short-form videos daily. I managed a team of three staff editors and five freelance contributors. I collaborated with Ad Sales and Marketing to support brand partnerships with sponsor-friendly editorial. I represented the Bravo brand on camera and at live events including the first-ever BravoCon. Some of my proudest accomplishments include:
In 2015, I started as a staff writer at Us Weekly. I wrote for all sections of the magazine, starting with photo captions and working my way up to feature spreads.
Before I found my permanent home in editorial, I was a publicist. Although it ultimately wasn't my passion, I learned a lot about the media industry working in-house at book and magazine publishers. It was in PR that I first connected with my love of lifestyle content as a career avenue. I represented a number of lifestyle magazines including Martha Stewart Living, Martha Stewart Weddings, Rachael Ray Every Day and EatingWell.
I graduated summa cum laude from New York University in 2012 with degrees in Journalism and Sociology and a minor in Creative Writing.
- At Insider, I review style and beauty products like stretchy work pants that feel like sweatpants and moisturizers for combination skin. Everything I cover has been personally tested or vetted. I take my own product photography such as in this detailed review of Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk Lipstick or this guide to the best crossbody bags.
- As a Travel + Leisure contributor, I report on the best clothing, accessories and beauty products to use during travel. I spend hours poring over product details, brand stories, fine print, testing notes and customer reviews in order to find the very best items that are worth the investment. For example, I covered personalized luggage brands and travel-friendly hairdryers. I also write personal accounts of the products that elevated my travels, such as a genius expandable backpack, my honeymoon wardrobe from Amazon and red-eye flight essentials for a comfortable night's sleep.
- In my work with HuffPost, I consult the experts about the dos and don'ts of beauty treatments and fashion. For example, I interviewed dermatologists and plastic surgeons to find out whether Botox can effectively be used to shrink pores. I asked nail techs what customers who hate their manicures should actually do about it. I also report on cultural trends through the lens of style, like when I explored why Gen Z won't let anyone see their feet or untangled my decision to choose my own engagement ring.
- At BestReviews, I report on the trending products people are talking about right now (like a TikTok-viral concealer or Stanley's collaboration with e.l.f.) and I test them myself to see if they're really worth the hype. I do in-depth product comparisons and educate readers about how to buy the best items for their needs. For example, I compared two models of the Revlon One-Step Volumizer and asked a dermatologist about the skin care products beauty-obsessed tweens can safely use.

- Big traffic and revenue wins: Marrying data-driven strategy and creative instinct, I grew traffic on the style and beauty sections by 100% in my first year and by another 33% in my second year. I also spearheaded all e-commerce strategy and secured the site's highest e-commerce sales ever. My first oversight of the annual holiday shopping tentpole saw six times the revenue earning's of the previous year's efforts.
- Iconic franchise launches: I ideated and created the Reunion Looks Reveal digital franchise, a widely popular and highly anticipated series to this day, which ensures a digital-first reveal of the reunion fashion from every Bravo show.
- Innovation and initiative: I quickly recognized an untapped niche and sponsor-friendly opportunity — home content — and pitched a new home-and-design vertical to chronicle Bravo talent's extravagant dwellings. I saw the project through from start to finish, building an execution team and serving as the launch editor for the new destination. My idea secured a $1 million sponsorship with a major partner within the first year.
- Growth and recognition: As a people manager, I completed NBCU's official management training program, which included six months of intensive coaching and preparation. Throughout my time with the company, I was a two-time winner of the "Going the Extra Mile (GEM) Award," which is a recognition program for employees who excel above and beyond their job duties.
